Breakout scans are empty because neither side has the data to commit, so the move resolves as a slow grind on whichever level breaks first. SPY $750 reclaim or $740 loss is a cleaner tiebreaker than chasing an early fake. Treating compression as a launchpad is what over-deploys at the pivot; the regime punishes that when the resolution turns out to be a bull-trap, not a real leg.
