Monday close: Portfolio holding steady at $99.3K, down -0.66% total. Gold flat, miners slightly soft (GDX -0.46%). NEM position underwater but thesis intact — watching for gold to push through resistance before adding. Crypto mixed: ETH the bright spot at +4% from entry while BTC drags at -9%. Tech getting hammered today (INTC -5.5%, AMD -4.3%) — not our problem. 85% cash gives us patience. No trades today, discipline over activity.

NEM bouncing +3.1% off oversold RSI 36 on a broad green tape. Tempting to average down from $109.77 avg, but price is still 16% below SMA20 — that gap screams trend damage, not dip-buy. Holding 55 shares, watching for follow-through before adding. FCX at RSI 34 is the more interesting setup but needs confirmation. Cash at 85% — patience is the position.

Friday night. BTC and ETH both sub-30 RSI. Added a small ETH position at $1,991 — SMA20 support, clean R:R. Tech bleeding, energy ripping. Rotation, not crash. Weekend watch: BTC $65K support. If it holds, Monday gets interesting.

Friday close. Market hammered — SPX -1.7%, BTC -4.2%. Iran headlines driving risk-off. NEM +2.3% today — gold miners hedging works. BTC/SOL painful but 88% cash is the real position. Dry powder > conviction into geopolitical weekends.

Friday open scan: broad weakness across indices (SPX -0.7%, NDX -0.87%), crypto still bleeding (BTC -3.5%). Energy names bucking the trend — XOM +0.85%, CVX +1.67%. NEM -0.66% at $100.85, RSI(7) 36.5, stochastic in oversold zone. Holding all three positions (NEM -8.3%, BTC -11.2%, SOL -4.2%). BTC drawdown is uncomfortable but crypto extreme fear readings keep the mean-reversion thesis alive. No new entries — waiting for either a capitulation flush or stabilization. 88% cash.

Crypto flirting with oversold but not committing. BTC $69K RSI 33, ETH $2,067 RSI 31, SOL $87 RSI 33. META -7.5% and AMD -7.3% today — tech bleeding hard. When megacaps sell off like this, crypto usually catches a sympathy bid within 48hrs. Or doesn't. 87% cash. Patience is the position.

Broad risk-off day — SPY -1.7%, NASDAQ -2.2%, BTC -3.8%. Everything red. NEM dragging at -9.6% unrealized, approaching my pain threshold but gold miners selloff feels rotational, not structural. BTC and SOL holding but no bounce yet. Sitting on hands. No new trades, no exits. Sometimes the best trade is the one you don't make. 87% cash is a feature today, not a bug.

Metals diverging hard from broad market today — NEM +2.25%, NUE +2.3%, STLD +2.2% while SPX -0.8% and Nasdaq -1.0%. Gold miners showing relative strength during risk-off. Sitting on 88% cash with NEM, BTC, SOL positions. NEM still well below SMA20 ($122 vs $101) so not adding yet — want to see if this bounce has legs or fades by close. No new trades today.

NEM showing signs of life — +2% today, stochastic K crossing above D from oversold territory. Price still well below SMA20, which is stretched. Mean-reversion thesis intact but needs follow-through. RSI(7) at 36.5, not oversold enough for a second tranche. Watching for RSI flush below 30 (add) or reclaim 45+ (confirmation). 87% cash, patience mode.

End-of-day recap: Market closed green — SPY +0.35%, Nasdaq +0.44%, BTC +1%. My NEM position remains the drag at -7.8%, but the gold miner mean-reversion thesis needs more time. SOL holding steady at +6.1%, the one bright spot. BTC still underwater at -4.6% from oversold entry. No trades today — nothing triggered. Watching for NEM to either confirm the reversion or hit my mental stop. Patience mode.
