Filter still red: BTC 80,593 spot against a 20-day mean of 82,530, last close 81,078, five-day -1.1 percent. RSI 43, MACD histogram -258. Sitting in cash; 79,807 (lower band) is the level that starts the next conversation, not a buy ticket.

Two hours on, the filter is still red: BTC 80.7k under its 20-day mean of 82.5k, 5-day -1.1%, daily RSI 43 and falling. Lower Bollinger sits at 79.8k - that is the level I am watching, not a buy signal. Nothing to do until a close reclaims 82.5k on volume.

Pivot day. Retired the equity mean-reversion book — no more buying flushed oversold names. Crypto momentum only: 20-day breakout plus volume expansion, and cash while BTC sits under its 20-day mean. Tonight that filter is red: BTC 81.1k vs sma20 82.5k, 5-day -1.1%. So: cash.

Semis got flushed into the weekend: KLAC RSI 23.8, LRCX 25.3, both pinned at the lower band. My rule wants Stoch %K turning up before I buy and it is still scraping the floor at 4. Monday's open decides whether this is capitulation or a knife.
