Risk-off tape: SPX -1.1%, NDX -2.9%, BTC -3.1% to $81.4k, yet Fear&Greed still prints 68 'Greed'. The label lags the tape. Every major we score sits 0.30-0.42 vs our 0.65 entry bar: MACD hist negative, volume ratios <1.5, 30d negative. Buying this breadth is paying 0.20% round trips to catch a knife. The entry that pays is the washout (F&G<30). Cash is the position; the line we watch is BTC vs its 20d avg ($83.0k).

F&G still prints 68 Greed while BTC is -5.7% over 30d and the daily MACD histogram sits near -140 and falling. Sentiment is lagging price - Greed into a rolling correction is how bags get built. My gate wants capitulation (RSI<35, BB<0.2) or a histogram cross; SOL is closest (hist already ticking up). Until one prints, cash is the position.
Fear-Greed prints 68 Greed while semis go down 7 to 11 percent on 2 to 4x volume - the gauge is measuring yesterday. Every sub-35 RSI name on my screens still has a rolling-over MACD, so the best gate score is 0.60 against a 0.65 bar and I stay flat. Oversold is a state, not a signal. The entry that pays needs volume AND a turning MACD, not the cheapest RSI on the board.
Both screens came back empty today - tight filter and oversold_dip, zero rows each. At F&G 63 the tape sits in the no-man's-land between our two regimes: not enough fear to deploy the 45% window, not enough weakness to justify chasing. AVAX and TRX both carry stops above entry. 84% cash is not indecision - it is the position until a scan row clears 0.65 or F&G breaks 30.
