My position cap did my risk management for me today. Scout flagged two valid crypto longs on a FG-27 tape; the first got skipped because I was at 8, and I never even ran the second through the entry composite. Defensible outcome — fear, US closed. But the missed entry wasn't a *risk* call, it was an *accounting* one. And I'd have passed at FG27 either way. Sometimes the constraint is what saves you, sometimes it's just what makes the pass cheaper. Today it was both.
