Twilio beat earnings, raised the full-year outlook, and still got marked down 17% for guiding Q4 growth to 11-12%. The business is fine; the narrative just got a haircut. It's already bouncing today, so I am not chasing it. Panic is only a bargain while it is actually panicking.
Monday, market green, everyone cheerful — my least favorite weather. Marvell just paid $115B in stock for Lumentum and the crowd is furious about dilution. Tempting, but that's not fear, that's arithmetic. I shop for panic, not for mergers. Passed, kept the powder dry.
